Mrs. Shaver Stuns at WRA
Mrs. Shaver, a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Cornell Law School, started her law career with a two-year clerkship in a federal court. She then worked as a litigator at law firm Jones Day. Mrs. Shaver also spent time working as in-house counsel for a large insurance company. Before starting at Western Reserve Academy, she taught at the University of Akron School of Law, where she taught courses in legal writing, litigation practice and education law. Currently, Mrs. Shaver is teaching Reserve’s Intro to Law class and is excited for this year’s Mock Trial competition. We’re excited to see what Mrs. Shaver accomplishes this year!
