Kisthardt Kicks Off New Career

Ilyana Smith ’20

Ms. Jackie Kisthardt has been working in the WRA athletics office for the past two years. In that time, she has also served as a member of the varsity field hockey coaching staff. As a former field hockey player in college, Ms. Kisthardt loves the sport, and all the players she has coached. “The field hockey players at WRA have a special place in my heart and I will miss them so much. Over the last two years we overcame so many obstacles thrown our way and it allowed me to create a special bond with those girls,” she says. Next year, Ms. Kisthardt plans to find an athletic administration position and continue coaching field hockey and lacrosse at another independent school. She is also very excited to be earning her masters’ degree in Athletic Administration from Ohio University this December. As she moves on from Reserve, Ms. Kisthardt says: “[I] have learned so much over the last two years. I will carry all the memories from the field hockey and lacrosse field and working with all of the awesome student-athletes here at WRA. I will also carry the friendships I have made. I have to give a huge shoutout to Ms. Fox and Ms. Donnelly for helping me adjust to the boarding school lifestyle!” Best of luck to you next year, Ms. Kisthardt!
