To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before Review

This movie follows the life of a teenage girl named Lara Jean as she struggles to deal with her own personal life and her romantic life. First, Lara Jean’s older sister leaves for college in Scotland and leaves her feeling lonely. Not only that, but her mom died when she was young. Then as if to make her feel worse, one of her most treasured possessions is taken and put out into the world. These are her letters, of which she has five. Let me explain; for every crush she has had, she has written a letter about how she feels and addressed it to that person. She never meant for these letters to be sent, but they were and her life changes drastically. Especially since one of her crushes, the most recent one actually, is her older sister’s ex-boyfriend. To find out the rest, you will have to watch the movie, which in my opinion I thought was pretty good. While this was not the best movie in the world, I thought it was a good way to spend an hour and forty minutes. This is a romantic film, so for those of you who don’t like romance, I would highly advise against watching the movie unless you really want to, of course. All in all, I thought this movie was really cute. It had some humor, some drama, some sadness, and a little bit of everything, basically. My only critique would be that it was very predictable, as most movies are. So, if you do not have anything to do anytime soon, here is a new movie for you to watch on Netflix.
