Top O’ the Morning, O’Sullivan

Conor O’Sullivan originally comes from Sutton, Massachusetts, and is a new English teacher at Western Reserve Academy. After graduating from Amherst College, O’Sullivan received his masters from the University of Chicago. O’Sullivan then went on to obtain his ABD from the University of California, Los Angeles.

He learned about WRA from a friend who teaches at University School who explained how great of a school WRA was. O’Sullivan likes the suburban feel Hudson has because of the mix of rural life and a large city, Cleveland, being not too far away. When a position in the English Department opened up at WRA, O’Sullivan knew that he had to apply.

He enjoys spaghetti carbonara and Sichuan Chinese food and can be found in Woodhouse where he lives with his wife and his son, Noel. In addition to teaching, he will coach JV baseball and assist Head of Music Department Midge Karam with this year’s musical, Urinetown.
